Full speed ahead

I am copying my friend Shannon and doing a 'high/lower' analysis. She did it for her week but I will highlight things, some good, some bad of the entire month. I say 'lower points' instead of low points because one of my goals for March, other than drinking more water, is to be more positive.

As February comes to a close I will be bold and say, this is the best February I've had in a long time. For the last 3 years February has contained some of the worst situations in it's short 28 day lifespan and this year I am happy to report that 2011's February is far superior.

High points
  • I am keeping my head above water in classes!! 2 big presentations are done for the semester!
  • I joined Max Fitness and have gone consistently for a full month. (I don't even dread going yet! the "honeymoon phase" must still be in effect!)
  • I'm down 8.4 lbs!
  • I signed a lease with my good friend Kelsey Brown for next fall in a cute apartment near campus!
  • David and I celebrated our 2nd (technically 3rd, but not as a couple) Valentine's Day together!
  • I stuck to my budget this month and set up savings accounts for both next years rent and trip to Brazil to see my brother in December!
Lower points
  • Econometrics is HARD and I'm still not good at math.
  • I have no job and feel a little useless at times.
  • Still haven't figured out a thesis, a true major professor, or my future.
  • My room and bathroom have been a disaster areas for a month. I've definitely been taking advantage of having no roommates to clean up for... :\ Unfortunately this has lead to unnecessary stress.
March will bring not only better weather but hopefully a more productive and calm Andrea. I am optimistic for the coming months but need to take the bull by its horns and figure out my future! Wish me luck!
